The images in the slideshow was created with Commander Crayon -- a variant of the Logo programming language. Logo is an graphical educational programming language. Logo was designed to teach children how to think logically by allowing them to create pictures by writing textual programs. All slideshow images but one has been created from written text only. No graphical software tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator has been used to enhance the images.


Example: Ball of Yarn

An example of how written text commands can create a picture has been provided below. The program draws 200 line segments. The image generated by this program is shown below. All pictures in the gallery were generated in this manner.
