Scoring:
-
Keep a tally of each players score, entering it after each turn.
The final score is the sum of the scores from each turn.
-
The score for each turn is the result of the equation. In other words,
the score is the "answer" of the equation, or the number on the side
of the equal sign with no operator.
-
A player gets credit for any and all equations completed on his or her turn.
-
A player who plays all seven number and two operator tiles gets a bonus of 100
points added to his or her score for that turn.
-
UNPLAYED TILES: When the game ends, each player must add the numbers
remaining in his or her rack. The players final score for the game is
reduced by that number. + and x operator tiles left in the rack reduces
the players final score by 10 points each. - and \ operator tiles left
in a players rack reduces that players score by 20 points each.
In addition, if a player has used all of his letters, the sum
of the other players unplayed letters is added to that players score.
