Objective
A player deals out seven stacks of cards. The object of the game is to use all of the cards to form words.
Instructions
- Shuffle the deck of cards.
- Deal out seven stacks of cards next to each other. The first stack of cards should have one card. The second stack of cards should have two cards. The third stack of cards should have three cards, and so on. The cards should be dealt face-down except for the top card on the stack, which should lie face-up.
- The player should use the face-up cards at the top of the stacks to form words. As soon as the player removes a face-up card from a stack to form a word on the table, the player should turn the card underneath face-up.
- The player continues to use the face-up cards to form words on the table. The game ends when the player cannot form any more words. The player wins if (s)he uses all the cards from the seven stacks.
- An easier version of 7-Down allows the player to use cards from words already formed on the table to with the cards face up on the stacks to form new words. If the player removes a letter from a previously formed word, or exchanges a letter with another word; the resulting words must be valid. Also, the user can add face-up cards on the stacks to the beginning or end of words already on the table to form new words. Players must be careful that any new words should be valid and all the words formed on the table at any time should be valid.
